I Love to Read Month

February is one of our favorite months at Carver Elementary because we spend extra time celebrating reading. Helping students develop strong reading skills and a genuine love for reading—is a top priority in our school, and I Love to Read Month gives us a fun way to highlight that work.

Throughout the month, students will participate in a variety of engaging reading activities, including:

  • Special read-alouds and guest readers.
  • Classroom reading challenges and celebrations.
  • Book talks and opportunities to share favorite stories.
  • Cozy reading times that encourage students to slow down and enjoy a good book.

You’ll likely hear your child talking about books more often—and we love that!

Spring conferences are coming up on Feb. 19, 26 and 27

We are looking forward to connecting with families during our upcoming Parent–Teacher Conferences on February 19, 26, and 27. These conversations are an important time to celebrate your child’s growth, share progress, and partner together around next steps for learning.

Conference sign-ups are open. Please be sure to log in as soon as you are able to select a time that works best for your family. Additional information and the sign-up link will be shared separately. Use the link below to sign up for conferences. My Conference Time
